About us

We are a team of professional guides and instructors, with many years of experience in mountain activities, ski and nature education.

ALESSANDRO “TANO” MASPERI

Mountain Guide
National Ski Instructor

Born in Trieste (Italia) and raised in the mountains of Bariloche (Argentina), trained in the ski and mountain school of Club Andino Bariloche, where I worked later for 15 years, heading the ski school in 2009.
After that I was part of the ski school staff of Club Universitario Buenos Aires. Now I am an independent ski instructor.
I work as a mountain guide since 2001, specialized in trekking tours and expeditions to the most fascinating and remote spots in Patagonia.
In 2006 I was part of the guides team in the Northern Patagonian Icefield expedition, led by famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner.
I studied Geology in the Universidad Nacional de La Plata.

Ski instructor – Mountain Guide
Physical Education Teacher

Born in Esquel (Chubut) and raised in Bariloche (Argentina), several years working in the mountain school of Club Andino Bariloche.
Ski instructor for more than 15 years in Catedral (Bariloche) and Keystone (Colorado).
Mountain guide since 2009, in Nahuel Huapi and Los Glaciares National Parks.
University chair in Nature and Trekking (Universidad Nacional del Comahue).
At the moment studying Environment and Sustainable Development master´degree (Universidad Nacional de Quilmes)

One of the most experienced guide of Argentina, with a large career path.
He was part of many expeditions like Mount San Valentin and Northern Patagonian Icefield crossing, beside Reinhold Messner.
Pioneer and benchmark in off piste and ski mountaineering in South America, leading the heliski operations in Patagonia.
